JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) - A woman from Alabama is recovering following a crash in Jackson County that left her with serious injuries and others with minor injuries, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP said the crash happened Friday night just before 9:30 p.m. The woman was driving west on US 90 when another car turned onto ‘Indian Springs Road’ in front of her, per FHP.
More news out of the Big Bend:
Troopers said she hit the bumper of the car that turned, causing it to spin and land on the shoulder.
A 7-year-old boy in the car that spun wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and was thrown out of the car, FHP reported. The boy had minor injuries, according to troopers. Another adult passenger in that same car, without a seat belt on also had minor injuries.
