LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Approximately 300 runners took part in this year’s Dia de los Muertos 5K Glo Run and Catrina contest.

The event ran from 4 to 9 p.m. at North Central Park and included activities for the whole family to enjoy. Horse rides, mariachi performances and folklorico dancing were featured at the celebration.

A best dressed Catrin and Catrina contest was also held, celebrating Day of the Dead in classic fashion.
