Peyser will present 'Lady Penelope in Quarantine' at WHAM

Actress and author Penny Peyser has a date at WHAM to bring her acclaimed one-woman show, “Lady Penelope in Quarantine.”

The WHAM Literary Arts Program will host Peyser at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15 at the WHAM Community Art Center, 16560 N. Dysart Road.

The Los Angeles-based Peyser has had a career that spans stage, film and TV.

She has acted opposite Dustin Hoffman, Harrison Ford, Sam Elliott, Gene Wilder and others. Peyser has also transformed her flair for comedy into an award-winning book — and now into a highly praised one-woman theatrical event.

It’s been described as a theatrical laugh fest.

Her solo performance features her Elizabethan alter ego, Lady Penelope, musing on love, language and life during quarantine.
