SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - Gunfire at a child’s birthday party on Saturday night left three people injured, the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office said.
The sheriff’s office said deputies responded to calls about a shooting in a mobile home park in the 4400 block of Broad Street shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Those present at the scene allegedly told deputies that shots were fired after a dispute involving residents broke out. EMS responded to the scene, and all three victims were taken to local hospitals.
The current conditions of the victims are not known as of Sunday afternoon. The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the incident.
