CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Two people are dead after a reported shooting in north Charlotte, Medic says.

The incident occurred in the 4200 block of Oakwood Road around 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

Medic says two people were pronounced dead on the scene. Their identities have not yet been released.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are investigating the shooting as a homicide.

We are waiting to learn if anyone has been arrested and what led up to the shooting.
