CARBONDALE — Southern Illinois University Carbondale invites high school students, prospective transfer students and their families to the next Open House from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 7.

The free event, based at the Student Center, attracts hundreds of people. It includes a chance to meet with representatives of academic colleges and learn more about majors, attend the Resource Fair & Academic Showcase, and take a campus tour with a Saluki Ambassador. Participants will hear from current students and have a chance to win some Saluki swag.
