INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD says two juveniles were shot Sunday afternoon on the north side of Indianapolis.
According to IMPD, around 3:18 p.m. on Nov. 2, officers were called to the 3800 block of Central Avenue , near 38th Street, on a report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they reportedly found two juvenile males outside of a residence near a vehicle both suffering from gunshot wounds.
The juveniles were taken to nearby hospitals in critical condition, but IMPD Ofc. Drew Brown said they had "grave" injuries and were "not expected to survive."
Police say the SWAT team was called to the scene after learning a person with potential involvement in the incident was inside a residence. Police say that person later surrendered "peacefully."
