A coastal flood advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 12:16 p.m. valid for Wednesday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for Clatsop County Coast and Tillamook County Coast.
The weather service comments, “Tidal overflow flooding expected during high tide.”
“Minor flooding, up to 1 foot above ground level, during high tides is expected in the low-lying areas near bays, sloughs, and the lower reaches of the coastal rivers. Expect flooding along portions of Highway 101, including near Raymond, Seaside, and Fraser Road in Tillamook County,” says the weather service. “A Coastal Flood Advisory means that tidal overflow flooding is expected.
