A crash on Saturday evening left two people seriously injured near Missouri WW, east of County Road 259 in Callaway County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The accident happened around 6:33 p.m. when a 2012 Ford Fiesta driven by an 18-year-old crossed the center of the roadway and struck a 1999 Dodge 1500 driven by a 49-year-old, according to the report.

Both vehicles came to a rest in the roadway, and the two drivers were transported to the University Hospital by Callaway EMS, the report said.

Both drivers had seatbelts on, according to the report.
