YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - The first round of the high school football playoffs in the Valley is over, and players posted some of the best plays of the season so far.

No. 9 - Springfield vs. Wickliffe. Springfield's Alex Caldwell appears to be swallowed up but gets out of the pile for a 50-yard rushing touchdown. Springfield falls, 17-15.

No. 8 - Berkshire vs. South Range. South Range's Nick Toy races to the endzone for a 78-yard rushing touchdown. Raiders win, 46-7.

No. 7 - Danbury vs. Southington. Southington's Tanner Kelson rushes but switches the field on his way to a 52-yard rushing score. Wildcats advance to the program's first eight-man state championship on Nov. 8.

No. 6 - Claymont vs. Liberty. Liberty defensive
