SPOKANE, Wash. — The most welcome news for the Chiefs after their longest road trip of the season was they were returning home for their longest home stand of the year. After a successful 4-2 record on their 6 game road swing from Seattle to the league's Central Division, Spokane came back to the Spokane Arena to open a 5 game home session.
The team would welcome back forward Assanali Sarkenov to the lineup as he missed the 5 games in Canada due to visa issues. The Chiefs however were without forward Smyth Rebman, who was down with an upper body injury he suffered on the trip, but he was the only injury on the club heading into the week.
First up for the Chiefs would be the division leading Everett Silvertips, who would visit the Arena two games this week. Sunday's first matchup would be
