EAST RIDGE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued a TN Most Wanted Alert for a man wanted for murder near Chattanooga on Tuesday.

According to TBI, 22-year-old Jason Sherman Brown, Jr. was wanted by TBI and the East Ridge Police Department for first-degree murder and especially aggravated robbery.

In an update on Friday, TBI said it’s believed that Sherman is in the St. Petersburg/Tampa, Florida area.

On Sunday, TBI said Brown was taken into custody.
