AURORA, Colo. (KKTV) - Police are asking the community for help finding a man wanted in connection with a suspected homicide in Aurora.

According to the Aurora Police Department (APD), officers responded around 2 p.m. on Oct. 25 to a parking lot in the 1500 block of Macon Street for a reported shooting.

Officers arrived and found a man with what they described as obvious gunshot wounds. The victim, a 34-year-old Aurora man, was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Marcus Marcelles Harper McCray, 40, of Aurora, is wanted on an active warrant for first-degree murder in connection with the shooting.

Police ask anyone with information about McCray or his location to contact Major Crime Homicide Unit detectives through Metro Denver Crime Stoppers or by calling 911.
