Time travel is a common theme in Hallmark Christmas movies and this year’s film featuring it is A Newport Christmas !

Wes Brown and Ginna Claire Mason star in the new movie, which debuts TONIGHT (November 2) at 8pm as part of the Countdown to Christmas.

Ginna Claire plays Ella, a young woman in 1905 Newport who learns her father wants her to marry a stranger, so she makes a wish on a comet and suddenly finds herself in 2025. There, she meets Nick ( Brown ), a sailor who says her boat belongs to him. As Ella explores the modern world and grows close to Nick, she realizes she must return to her own time to protect her legacy, though what she finds waiting for her back home is more surprising than what she found in the future.
