The emergency department at Saskatoon City Hospital closed early Sunday afternoon because of a shortage of available physicians.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority said in a news release that the ER would shut its doors at 3 p.m. on November 2, as a result of “unforeseen physician unavailability.”
People needing emergency care after that time are being asked to go to Royal University Hospital on Hospital Drive or St. Paul’s Hospital on 20th Street West.
