2 injured in shooting involving a vehicle with child inside

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - A man and woman were found shot in their vehicle.

On Nov. 2, at 4:17 p.m., the Shreveport Police Department (SPD) responded to what was thought to be an accident at the intersection of Claiborne Avenue and Queens Highway.

Once on the scene, officers discovered the incident was a shooting.

A man, a woman, and a young child were in a vehicle when the incident happened.

The child was unharmed. The man and woman were taken to the hospital with gunshot injuries.

The woman has life-threatening injuries.
