MONROE, Wis. — The Monroe Swiss Singers celebrated their 57th Annual Swissfest on Sunday afternoon at the Turner Hall of Monroe, bringing the sounds and traditions of Switzerland to life through a lively showcase of authentic folk music and culture.

The event featured performances from the Monroe Swiss Singers, the Jodlerklub New Glarus, the Männerchor New Glarus, and other regional groups. Audience members experienced traditional Swiss music styles, including alphorns, yodeling, accordions, and coin-rolling, known as Talerschwingen.

The program took place in the Grand Hall of Turner Hall, with admission priced at $10 at the door. Following the performance, guests were invited to enjoy a Swiss buffet for $19.95 at the lower-level Ratskeller Restaurant, which served a variety of authentic
