VANDERBERG VILLAGE, Calif. (CNN) – Authorities in California searched the home of a missing 9-year-old girl Thursday.

Melodee Buzzard’s mother was served a warrant at their Vanderberg Village home.

Authorities said the child’s mother has been uncooperative in the investigation.

Melodee was reported missing on Oct. 14.

Her last known whereabouts were captured on camera at a car rental business on Oct. 7.

The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office said the case remains a missing person investigation.
