WARRICK, Ind. (WFIE) - A suspicious death investigation is underway after a woman’s body was discovered near a boat ramp in Warrick County.

That’s according to Indiana State Police, who say her body was found by someone fishing in the Bluegrass Fish and Wildlife area on New Harmony Road near Klippel Road around 1:23 p.m. this afternoon.

Troopers say foul play is suspected.

The woman is described as being:

White female

Age: Late teens to early 30’s

Dark hair

Approximately 5’ tall

Approximately 130 lbs.

Police say anyone with information can remain anonymous. ISP says there will be an autopsy tomorrow morning.
