SPOKANE, Wash. — On Sunday, Spokane Velocity FC takes on South Georgie Tormenta. The match started at 5 p.m.

It's a cool evening, luckily, no rain in sight and fans are excited to be here for their squad in their home stadium rather than being on the road.

Now, this is the first time the Velocity has ever hosted a play-off match. So, players are very excited to have that homefield advantage.

The last time the club played South Georgia Tormenta, about a month ago, the game ended in a tie, so Spokane is ready to bring home a win on Sunday.

Team co-owner Ryan Harnetiaux shared that the players worked tirelessly to avoid playing on the road as much as possible so they could have a playoff match here at ONE Spokane Stadium.
