Some Blue Jays fans are feeling frustrated after Saturday’s Game 7 loss , though their grievances have little to do with the game.

After the Blue Jays’ legendary season came to an end in extra innings after midnight, fans were met with even more disappointment while trying to take transit out of the downtown core.

Despite the final game of the World Series bringing thousands of baseball fans to Toronto, TTC extended subway service only by an hour, until approximately 1:30 a.m. (2:30 a.m. before the clocks turned back, a spokesperson told the Star), although its regular overnight service on the Blue Night Network continued to run.

TTC did have a plan to extend service if the game ran late, but decided against it, according to a statement posted on social media .
