SACRAMENTO, Calif. —

A man was shot Saturday night in Downtown Sacramento, officials said.

Officers with the Sacramento Police Department were dispatched just after 1 a.m. to a reported shooting in the area of Kayak Alley and 8th Street, the police department said.

Upon arrival, an adult male was found with at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, the police department said.
