RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) -- Barbers and stylists, driven by their passion for their craft, embarked on a journey to the Triangle for a weekend of learning, growing, and reconnecting.
"What we believe really is continuing education on everything, expanding our knowledge on what we know," said Miguel O'Neill, owner of Entheos Barber Co.
O'Neill and his wife own a barbershop in Mebane and brought their team to learn how to create trust, not trauma, when working with clients with autism.
"What it is, what does it look like, what does it feel like, who does it affect, what are the triggers?" said Nina Colon, a spokesperson for The Sensory Safe Solution.
