SAN DIEGO (KUSI) -- Gabby Bigler just came home with some hardware from the U.S. Youth Rowing National Championships in Sarasota, Florida with her rowing partner Kate Rasmussen.
Quite a feat for two high school students from Canyon Crest Academy and Cathedral Catholic.
But what makes it even more impressive is Gabby suffers from a condition called Aniridia (meaning absence of an iris) which means she is legally blind.
Not letting it define her, Gabby knows this accomplishment is just the tip of the iceberg in what she hopes to accomplish in the sport of rowing.
