SRINAGAR : The Jammu Kashmir Government is facing outstanding liabilities amounting to Rs 4,468 crore towards retired employees, covering dues under the General Provident Fund (GPF), gratuity, commutation, and leave salary. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

According to official data, the unpaid liabilities as of October 22, 2025, include Rs 2,390 crore under GPF, Rs 1,537 crore under gratuity, Rs 332 crore under commutation, and Rs 209 crore under leave salary. These pending dues remain to be cleared in various treasuries across the Union Territory.

During the current financial year, the Government has already settled bills worth Rs 2,160 crore under GPF, Rs 770 crore under gratuity, Rs 545 crore under commutation, and Rs 229 crore under leave salary up to Octob
