The opportunity to get free candy and show off Halloween costumes has come to an end, with options for trick or treating running out after a busy weekend in area communities.

Parents will be doling out candy and putting away carefully designed costumes that replicate cartoon characters, movie heroes and of course Winnie the Pooh and his Disney friends.
