MURRAY – A Murray man was charged with cocaine trafficking on Friday as part of an ongoing investigation, the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office said.
According to a news release, narcotics detectives and deputies with CCSO made contact on Friday with Bailey T. Blankenship, 19, of Murray, who was found to be in possession of a quantity of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
Blankenship was part of an ongoing investigation that started on Oct. 1, and he was placed under arrest on charges stemming from the initial investigation and current possession. In all, Blankenship was found to be in possession of more than 9 gross grams of cocaine, along with various items of drug paraphernalia consistent with the trafficking of illegal narcotics.
