MURRAY – Two men were recently indicted by a Calloway County Grand Jury on first-degree cocaine trafficking charges, according to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.
CCSO said in a news release that the Calloway County Narcotics Division presented multiple cases to the grand jury on Oct. 24. All cases presented were returned with a true bill, and indictment warrants were issued for all parties.
CCSO served indictment warrants on Oct. 29 to A’vion Cavitt, 25, of Grayson County, and Kenneth Walls, 23, of Murray. They were each charged with two counts of first-degree trafficking a controlled substance, first offense (equal to or greater than 4 grams cocaine), which is a Class C Felony, and being a persistent felony offender in the second degree.
