THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister V Sivankutty said the central government is not paying attention to the railway safety measures. He was responding after a woman was pushed off a moving train in Varkala. The minister also said that the UDF MPs in Kerala are not interfering in the matter.

Meantime, the condition of the woman pushed off the train is improving. She has been removed from the ventilator. However, her health condition has not been completely recovered. Police and railway sources said the accused, Suresh Kumar of Panachamood had no prior acquaintance with Sreekutty (19) of Peyyad in Thiruvananthapuram.
