October was both Breast Cancer Awareness and Domestic Violence Awareness months. With that in mind, a variety of fundraisers were held to support cancer research and help victims of domestic violence and human trafficking.

On Oct.16, Cancer Link “Hope Blooms in Pink” Luncheon and Fashion Show by Julian Chang took place at Jungle Island to raise funds for the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami Health System, Guests arrived early for a chance to bid on silent auction items and shop in the boutique while enjoying strawberry margaritas and Moscow mules before the lunch and fashion show.
