GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - On Monday afternoon, James Thomas Tate gets a court hearing on charges that he shot and killed his boss in Suburban Heights in early 2024, then led law enforcement on a cross-county chase. No trial date has been set.

Gainesville and High Springs hold municipal elections on Tuesday.
