Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) maker Tata Consumer Products reported a 11 per cent increase in consolidated net profit in the September quarter, driven by double-digit growth in its core products.

The maker of Tata Salt and Tetley tea reported an 18 per cent increase in revenue from operations at ₹4,965 crore. Consolidated EBITDA grew 7 per cent year-on-year with an EBITDA margin of 13.6 per cent.

In the domestic business, the packaged beverages business revenue grew 12 per cent with a 5 per cent volume growth, while coffee recorded a 56 per cent growth in the quarter. Indian Foods’ business revenue grew 19 per cent with an 11 per cent volume growth. The Tata Sampann delivered a 40 per cent sales growth during the quarter.
