We Americans have very recently experienced something that few have ever experienced. This was the gathering of over 7 million people in more than 2,500 cities and towns across our nation in the “No Kings” rallies . The rally participants showed their goals with signs asserting American values of freedom, universal justice, and most of all no dictators. People were very conscious of the Constitution’s guarantee of “the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
