New Delhi: The sacred city of Jabalpur – known as Sanskar-dharani, the land of values – holds a divine place in history. It was here, on 13 September 1933, that a blessed child was born – the child who would one day become His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, the spiritual head of the global BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha and the beloved guru who continues to inspire millions worldwide.

Hindu scriptures proclaim that the greatness of any faith rests in its guru-parampara — its unbroken lineage of spiritual masters. The Swaminarayan tradition, founded by Bhagwan Swaminarayan, has continued through this sacred lineage, today culminating in its sixth successor, Pragat Brahmaswarup Mahant Swami Maharaj.
