CHICAGO (WLS) -- A crash killed two women near Rate Field Sunday night, Chicago police said.
The crash occurred at about 9:13 p.m. in the 300-block of West 35th Street.

According to police, the victims were in a red sedan that was travelling east on 35th Street. The car lost control, crossed the median and struck a westbound SUV.
The 24-year-old woman driving the car and a 21-year-old woman who was a passenger were both transported to Stroger Hospital, where they were pronounced dead, police said.
One of the victims have been identified as 21-year-old Natalia Andrea Acevedo Mendez of Tampa Florida.
Two men in the SUV were transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
