SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Tuesday, Election Day, is the big day to make your voice heard on the issues that will impact you the most whether you live in Georgia or South Carolina.
In both states, polling places open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. As long as you are in line by 7 p.m., you will be allowed to vote.

Georgia’s My Voter Page is a helpful tool that you can use to look up your voter registration information.
On Tuesday, you must vote at your assigned polling location. If you submitted an absentee ballot, the website will show if it’s been accepted.
Also on the My Voter Page, you can find sample ballots.
Taking a look at some of our local races-a big local seat is up for grabs in Statesboro and Richmond Hill, and it’s for mayor.
