SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Election day is Tuesday.

There are a lot of issues to decide and seats up for grabs in the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry and some voters have already made sure their voices are heard.

Early voting in both states wrapped up just a few days ago. Less than 10% of active voters turned out in Georgia. However, the percentage of early voters in South Carolina is much smaller... at less than 1%.

More than 630,000 Georgians casted their ballots early, but that only makes up for about 8.9 % of all active voters in the state.

In our coverage area, Montgomery County had the lowest early voter turnout at only 4.1 %.

Counties, like Bulloch and Chatham, had slightly better numbers with Liberty County reaching over 10 %.
