COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State’s 2027 class had the beginnings of a class that you’d expect entering this weekend.

With National Signing Day for that crop of recruits set for 13 months away, it made sense that there were just three prospects in the class: A five-star in-state receiver (Jamier Brown), a four-star quarterback who grew up a massive Ohio State fan and a three-star defensive back (Angelo Smith) who is the younger brother of Ohio State superstar wideout Jeremiah Smith.
