LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Downtown Lansing is kicking off the holiday season with Big Red Ball Week.

The celebration begins on Wednesday, November 6, with the arrival of the City of Lansing’s holiday ornaments in Washington Square.

Throughout the week, visitors can take part in festive activities, including the Big Red Ball Photo Contest, where participants are invited to snap a photo with the giant ornaments and share it for a chance to win Downtown Digital Dollars.

Shoppers can also take advantage of downtown retailer specials, featuring exclusive discounts and holiday-themed promotions at participating businesses.

The festivities will culminate with the Big Red Ball Gala on Saturday, December 6, at the Knapp’s Center.
