ALEXANDRIA, Ky. (WXIX) - The AA Highway is shut down in both directions at Kentucky 709 due to a fatal crash.

The AA Highway is expected to be shut down through the morning commute, a Campbell County dispatcher confirms.

The coroner’s office was called to the crash shortly after it was reported in Alexandria about 5:15 a.m. Monday, according to intial emergency communication reports.

A white sheet is draped over the vehicle involved in the crash.
