The newly formed Democratic People’s Front (DPF) has criticised national parties, saying decades of misgovernance have contributed to the current turmoil in Manipur.

The party, which recently held a reception and induction programme for intending candidates ahead of the forthcoming State Assembly Election, signalled its intent to challenge established political norms by prioritising fresh faces and regional representation in the upcoming election.
