The President, Droupadi Murmu arrived at the Army Helipad in Haldwani this afternoon at 4:10 PM. On her arrival, the Governor Lt Gen (Retd) Gurmit Singh, Cabinet minister Dhan Singh Rawat, mayor Gajraj Singh Bisht, Kumaon commissioner Deepak Rawat, ADG Law and Order V Murugesan, IG Kumaon Riddhim Aggarwal and district magistrate Lalit Mohan Rayal welcomed her.

Thereafter, the President proceeded to Raj Bhavan, Nainital, to participate in the ceremony marking the 125th anniversary of its establishment.
