Police were conducting a death investigation after a man was pulled from the South Branch of the Chicago River early Monday in Pilsen.
The body of the unidentified 45-year-old was found around 12:20 a.m. in the 2400 block of South Halsted Street, Chicago police said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
No further details were immediately available.
