The profit of Ambuja Cements Ltd --- an Adani Group company --- rose more than four times to ₹2,302 crore during the second quarter of the financial year 2025-26. The Profit After Tax for the quarter includes a reversal of the income tax provision of ₹1,697 crore, the company said Monday.
The company’s revenue from operations rose by 25 per cent to ₹7,305 crore for the quarter. This was largely aided by a 20 per cent growth in revenues from cement and a 57 per cent growth in sales of Ready Mix Concrete.
