SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - It was a cold start to our Monday as many of us started out in the 20’s and lower 30’s.

This week is windy and unsettled with several chances for quick evening showers.

Today, we will see a mix of sun and clouds with highs ranging in the middle and upper 50’s to near 60°. The further we push into afternoon, the more clouds we will see building in. Breezes will also start to kick up, gusting at times to 20-30 mph.

This evening, between 6-9pm, a cold front will come through and bring us a brief shower or downpour. Then behind the front, we clear out and turn windy tonight.

Tuesday, we’re mostly sunny with highs ranging in the lower to middle 50’s. Low pressure is set up to our east, and high pressure building in from the west with create a pressure gradie
