YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) -- Police say two people are in stable condition at St. Elizabeth Health Center after a shooting late Sunday on the North Side.

The two were wounded about 11:45 p.m. in the 400 block of West Dennick Avenue.

Detectives are investigating and evidence was collected, said Chief of Detectives Capt. Jason Simon.

So far this year, 44 people have been shot in the city. Last year at this time, the city had 68 shootings and 81 for the year.
