A Lothian bus crashed on a busy Edinburgh road on Monday morning.
The incident took place on Calder Road in the Sighthill area of the city on Monday, November 3 at around 11.15am.
It is currently not known how many vehicles were involved, or the exact nature of the incident.
Images of the aftermath of the smash show the bus at the side of the road with severe damage to the front of the vehicle. Both the front windscreen and the top front window of the double decker bus are smashed.
The front bumper of the bus also appears to be hanging off of the vehicle and it appears to have come to a halt close to a lamppost. It can be seen partially on the pavement near electrical boxes.
A spokesperson for Lothian confirmed that one of their vehicles was involved in an incident this morning.
