EFFINGHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) - Early Monday morning, Effingham County Fire Rescue (ECFR) responded to a structure fire that claimed the lives of two individuals.

ECFR responded to the fire in the Egypt Community of North Effingham. A tanker shuttle has been established to provide water.

In a Facebook post, ECFR confirmed two fatalities. The fire is currently under investigation.
