Pictures capture aftermath of huge fire behind empty Stapleton Road pub
New pictures have captured the aftermath of a fire in East Bristol which saw about 40 firefighters being called to the scene. The images show a burnt out structure behind an empty pub on Stapleton Road in Easton .
The fire by the local train station started at around 7am on Sunday (November 2) in a wooden structure at the back of the Masala Bazaar and Coach House pub which closed in 2013 with plans to turn it into an HMO.
Fire crews worked with police and teams monitored the nearby railway line while the road was closed for a period of time due to how many fire engines were needed on site. The road was shut for about five hours.
