DODA, Nov 3: In a significant step towards improving regional connectivity and providing faster travel options to the people here, the much-awaited helicopter service from Doda to Jammu was officially inaugurated today. The service aims to bridge the gap between remote mountainous districts and the capital city of Jammu, ensuring affordable, safe and time-efficient travel for the residents.
The inaugural event was attended by the District Development Council (DDC) Chairman Dhananter Singh Kotwal and the Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh. They appreciated the initiative, describing it as a milestone that will greatly benefit the people of Doda by enhancing mobility and emergency response.
